In spirit of Valentines Day I went over to Christina's to get the scoop on what they have to offer and what the hot selling items are for the big day. I talked with the wonderful staff/owner Barbara Wilson who is the third generation owner. They have been open since 1979 and have sat on the corner of Folsom for the last 23 years! Barbara says they have something for every woman, young and old. They carry lingerie, dresses, and swimsuits. Her motto is 'anyone who loves beauty and beautiful things loves Christinas'. The popular items for Valentines day have been sleeping apparel and neon-colored bras.
I will admit, as a man, it was a little intimidated walking into a women's luxury store, but the wonderful staff made me feel very welcome. In fact Barbara said the majority of customers this past week have been men. The staff is very helpful too, they can help you find the perfect give, and the right size, for you special someone.
Christina's is more that a woman's luxury store, they are very involved in the community. A percentage of all of their sales is donated to local charities. As well Christina's has been recognized by the community as 'Best in Boulder- Clothing and Lingerie' year after year. Barbara says they are more than just a lingerie store, they are 'casual dressy' and have clothes for the Boulder lifestyle.
